Taco Salad

Here is a version of Taco Salad that my family loves. It's a little on the sweet side.

Throw
one large chunk of onion,
one garlic clove,
2/3 cup of oil,
2/3 cup of ketchup,
1/2 cup of sugar,
1/2 cup of vinegar,
into a blender. Blend well. Congratulations! You've got Catalina salad dressing the missionary way!

Now,
Brown:
1 1/2 pound ground beef. Drain and rinse.

Add:
¼ cup water,
1 small onion, finely chopped,
2-4 Tbsp. Chili powder (How much depends on how long you've been on the field and, therefore how old your chili powder is),
and the blender mixture to the ground beef. Mix well and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.

Layer on a plate:
Doritos,
Lettuce,
Chopped tomatoes,
Grated cheddar cheese (or the substitution available in your country).

Boy did this line strike home...

2-4 Tbsp. Chili powder (How much depends on how long you've been on the field and, therefore how old your chili powder is)

But we would probably have to change it to the following:

2-4 Tbsp. Chili powder (Depending on how much we still have left and when the next visitor might be able to bring out some more)

Sounds like a great recipe (now we just need to add a blender and Doritos to our WishList)
